About Quoter Network

Who we are

Quoter Network is an independent editorial site that researches and writes about non-GamStop casinos for a UK audience. We were founded in 2024 by a group of former gambling-industry researchers and journalists who felt the sector was under-served by honest coverage. Most of what a UK reader could find on the topic in late 2023 was either promotional copy dressed as journalism or vague warnings that stopped short of practical guidance. What we cover

How we are funded

Quoter Network is funded by a mix of affiliate commercial arrangements and direct editorial engagements. We disclose the existence of these arrangements openly, and — critically — we do not permit them to determine our editorial rankings. The scoring framework described on the homepage is the sole input to our rankings. If a commercial partner scores below the top ten under that framework, they are not listed, regardless of the commercial relationship.

The concrete separation is that no commercial contact is copied into editorial discussions of ranking, and no editorial contact is party to commercial negotiations. This is a common structural firewall in serious publishing and we consider it non-negotiable.

Our editorial team

Three named editors carry primary responsibility for the content on this site: Harriet Ashworth as editorial lead, Callum Reid as payments and compliance analyst, and Doreen Whitfield as safer-gambling counsellor. Doreen is a BACP-registered practitioner and reviews any content that discusses self-exclusion, gambling harm, or professional support services. Her review is final on those subjects.

Beyond the named team, we retain a rotating panel of freelance contributors — game reviewers, payments specialists and legal researchers — who work on individual pieces under editorial oversight.

What we will not do

Some editorial choices are worth stating explicitly. We do not publish content designed to help self-excluded players circumvent their exclusion. We do not link to operator sign-up pages from any page discussing self-exclusion. We do not carry casino content aimed at readers under eighteen. We do not accept payment for a specific ranking placement, and we do not accept editorial input from commercial partners in exchange for coverage.
